I was born in Florida and graduated from the University of Florida. My wife Susan and I raised our 2 boys right here in North Carolina. My oldest earned a seat as an air force pilot, the other is enrolled in college at App State. I love the outdoors, golf, tennis, anything with an engine, hunting and fishing, and college football. We enjoy travel and continue to explore this great state.

I was born in the old Rex hospital in Raleigh and graduated from N.C. State University. I’m local and proud of it. I’m blessed to have a wonderful daughter, son, and three grandchildren, and the fact that they, along with the rest of my family, are close by adds to that blessing. I love movies, golf, the Carolina Hurricanes, and hanging out at the beach with my friends and family.
